In 2017, Cynthia Hwang joined a Seattle, Washington, financial institution as a banker and senior business relationship manager. Cynthia Hwang also drives strategy and business operations as the vice president. Her responsibilities with the financial institution include managing portfolios for businesses with $20 million in annual revenue, assisting individual and family clients with lifetime wealth management strategies, and new client acquisition.
Previously, Cynthia Hwang held positions such as senior business relationship manager, vice president of Wells Fargo, business development officer, and vice president of Washington Mutual.
Cynthia Hwang studies marketing and international business at Gonzaga University’s Graduate School of Business. She majored in marketing, finance, and international business as an undergraduate at the University of Washington. She completed a study abroad program in China and received a certificate of international studies in business.
Away from work, she supports Asian American activism throughout the Pacific Northwest. She has sat on the Greater Chinese Chamber of Commerce board since 2022 and is the founder of the Asian Wealth Initiative.
